Day and summer camps help children build character, develop social skills, and learn independence. New Jersey provides exactly that with the best day and summer camps offering outdoor programs, opportunities to make friends, and other activities designed to provide hours of fun.

Smart Fun Camps @ Far Hills

Families get to customize their children’s camp time with flexible one to eight-week programs at Fun Camps @ Far Hills. Suitable for kids from pre-kindergarten to the eighth grade, the camp has programs related to sports, science, fine arts, theater, and cooking. You can register at one of their camps here.

Camp Riverbend
116 Hillcrest Road, Warren

Camp Riverbend covers 30 acres of shaded woods, open fields, and wetlands. The changing terrain is sure to give kids a new appreciation for the outdoors. The camp also provides programs in arts and crafts, sports, cooking, and the performing arts. It hosts carnivals, as well as shows with special guest performances.

Kids aged three to 14 will have an awesome time here. A half-day option is available for three- to four-year-olds. There’s a day-trip teen travel program for seventh to ninth graders. Check out camp rates and other details here.

Oasis Day Camps provides a safe and inclusive environment for kids who sign up for their athletics, performing arts, creative arts, team-building, and outdoor exploration programs. Young adults aged 12 to 14 can join the Teen Travel program, while preschoolers will have fun at a modified-day Early Start Imagination Camp. You can register for their summer programs here.

New Horizons Day Camp

New Horizons Day Camp is one of the premier inclusive day camps in New Jersey. It provides flexible scheduling options to meet differing needs. Campers can even customize their own schedule so that they can explore different interests.

SuperKids Summer Camp

SuperKids Summer Camp’s program focuses on social and community engagement. Kids get to tour the local police and fire departments and meet the people who make up the first aid squad. Field trips to charities like The Seeing Eye Dogs, Bridges Food Bank, and Runnels Specialized Hospital allow children to learn about the work these groups do.
